The clock starts at 23:30:00. Every weight point in the record moves it 30 seconds. Sixty points is midnight. It can sit at 23:59:59 for as long as it takes; it cannot go backward, because evidence does not un-happen.

Only primary sources count: a system card, a court filing, a lab's own statement or post-mortem, a peer-reviewed or preprint evaluation, or reporting from an outlet with a corrections policy. Screenshots and threads do not count. One incident is one entry, however many articles cover it.

Things that do not count
- A model saying something scary when asked to say something scary.
- Predictions, open letters, and interviews. The clock records what happened, not what someone thinks will.
- Jailbreaks with no consequence beyond the screenshot.
- The same incident reported by a second outlet.
